Residents Join Efforts to Remove Waste from Drains in Cilandak

"Gerebek Lumpur in Tugu Selatan targets drains in residential areas. It is aimed to anticipate the rainy season," he expressed.

He expressed those plastic waste transported consisted of plastic bags, packaged food wrappers, drink glasses to used bottles. After being sorted and cleaned, plastic waste was weighed in the waste bank for economic value.

"Hopefully residents will sort plastic waste from home, thus it doesn't pollute the environment and trigger blockage of drains," he stated.
